If I’m not in network with your insurance plan, then I’m happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. It’s best to call your insurance company directly to clarify your out of network benefits and coverage. Most of the time clients are able to be reimbursed 60-80% of the session cost if they have out of network benefits. Some good questions are:
Do I have out of network coverage/out of network benefits?
What is my deductible or out of pocket max, and how much has been met this year?
How do I submit a claim for reimbursement?
How much can I expect to be reimbursed?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy. EMDR was developed over 30 years ago and is an evidence based treatment for trauma and PTSD. During EMDR sessions you will focus on the painful memory while also experiencing bilateral stimulation (usually eye movements or tapping) and this helps to make the memory feel less intense, and less emotionally charged.
Yes, I’m able to provide EMDR therapy virtually—sometimes, this works even better! Some people prefer to be in the comfort and safety of their own home, and then you don’t need to worry about driving home after EMDR, which can be draining. We’ll talk about what works best for you.
